Each kit provided by Flying Legend includes the following: fuselage, wing, empennage, flight control, fixed landing gear, aluminum tanks and the canopy.
Each kit includes also all the hardware parts (bolts, nuts, rivets and so on) required to assembly the aircarft. A amateur builder requires approximately 700/800 hrs to complete the advanced kit.
It is also important to mention that you can order a kit in separate components (sub-kits),
EMPENNAGE kit – FUSELAGE kit – WING kit – FINISHING kit –
so you will have all the time to build it at your own pace, step by step, and in a more cost-effective way.
The standard kit does not include the retractable gear that has to be selected in the option list.
Entirely made in Aluminium 2024-T3/6061 -T6, the structure is calculated for a MTOW of 1433 lb and a load factor of +6/-3G or 1653 lb with a load factor +4.4/-2.2 G
The Advanced kit price includes builder’s Assistance, Building and final Assembly of the Tucano kit from its basic version to the advanced one. This service is offered at designated dealers locations. Check the dealer button to find the closest to you.
What is included in the advanced kit?
Advanced Fuselage
- through our builder assistance program it is possible to have the fuselage central body closed and upper fuselage partially closed
- unassembled skins are pre-punched at 2.4 mm, cutted and rimmed
- Engine mount blocks is included
The amateur builder has to cleco what is left, re-drill the holes to the final size before riveting and assembly the internal parts.

The kit includes also the floor sheets, the upholstery internal side, canopy closure parts, roll-bar, extra luggage compartment parts, pedals support – SS cowling frame.
The fuselage has also inspection windows which allows the builder to easy access the internal parts of the aircarft.
ATTENTION: At the time of the order please specify if you would like the fixed or retractable gear (option), as the fuselage and the wings have to be structured accordingly – also the front gear is suitable for our engine mount.
Advanced Wing
- Spars and undercarriage compartment are manufactured by FL builder’s assistance
- Rear wing, part of the belly and the first part of the nose wing are supplied completely closed with the help of FL team
- Wing nose are open (pre-pounched) to install the tanks (unassembled)
- FL helps you to inserts partially the electric cables passage and the additional fuel tank supports
- Wheel compartment, remaining nose, fuselage front spar and footsteps are pre-punched with guide holes 2.4 mm
- FL will help you to close the FLAPS and the AILERONS
- Inspection windows
Empennage
- Empennage is provided pre-pounched with guide holes. The builder has to drill the holes to the final size.
- Hinge parts are included – unassembled
- All nuts, platenuts, washer, bolts, screws, rivets, pop-rivets, tube fittings needed are included.
Finishing
The Finishing kit includes all the parts necessary to complete your aircraft with very low price:
- the pedals, engine mount and all the other elements in chrome molybdenum are already welded and treated with powder paint by FL.
- Canopy kit is included
- unassembled flight control , front panel, throttle system, front pilot toe brakes, standard fiberglass, fuel system with valve , standard weels, all brake lines, cowling, standard spin, electric flap actuator are included
- All nuts, platenuts, washer, bolts, screws, rivets, pop-rivets, tube fittings needed are included
